University of Calgary Students’ Union Honors Student Clubs

The U of C Students’ Union introduced its first SU Inaugural Club Awards at a special ceremony on April 13. With members of Clubs from across campus in attendance, Club Awards were presented to recognize student excellence in team leadership, service, sustainable practices, advocacy and innovation.

If elected for Vice President Student Life for the 2011-2012 academic year, my focus will be on clubs, culture and diversity, and health on campus. These three sections have a huge impact on the quality of student life, and whether or not a student's time spent here at the U of C is a memorable one. Campus engagement is a highly rewarding aspect of post-secondary student experience and is in need of effective changes to improve student experience on campus.
