SU Volunteer Tax Program

During tax season (February-April) the SU offers its popular Volunteer Tax Program. The program provides free tax filing services to qualifying members of the campus community. The program is open to all campus students, faculty and staff.

The SU Volunteer Services Tax Program is run by volunteers who are all CRA trained and can e-file or provide a mail-in tax return to clients.

Any member of the campus community can use this free service provided individuals meet certain qualifying criteria. Volunteers are unable to accept returns for the following:

  • Individual income over $30,000
  • Rental income
  • Complex investments & capital gains (will accept interest & dividend income)
