Arts Students Meet Laura Golebiowski

Laura is completing the final year of her BA Honours Co-op in Communication Studies with a minor in Museum and Heritage Studies. Her research interests include museum theory, local history and she has worked on a number of heritage preservation projects in Calgary. Laura is enjoying serving and representing the new Faculty of Arts this year. She also really loves bird watching and board games.

Science Students Meet Aleena Mansoor

Aleena is in her third year of Biological Sciences at the U of C. She has been actively involved in SU clubs, sits on the board of an NGO and has been working diligently on the formation of a Students’ Association for the Faculty of Science. In her free time Aleena likes to play soccer, read, go kayaking.

Science Students Meet Jack Siu

Jack is a 3rd year BioSci major with a minor in Nanosciences. He takes part in Safewalk and Oweek, and enjoys playing squash in his spare time. He is interested in promoting interdepartmental activities by helping with the creation of a club for all science students and a student submission based newsletter.

Haskayne Students Meet Chris Palmer

A fourth year business student, Chris is always looking for new ways to become involved in his faculty. In addition to his work with the SU, he works with a number of business clubs including AIM, SIFE and ISEEESA, and competed as a member of the 2011 Haskayne ICBC team.
