Election Candidate Information

Nomination packages are available online or from the SU office once the Notice of Nomination has been posted. All potential nominees and campaigners are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the contents of these documents. Any breach or infraction of the content of these documents by an authorized member of a campaign team or candidate will be imputed to such candidate, and such candidate will be held accountable for the breach or infraction. Accordingly, it is strongly suggested that each candidate make their respective campaign teams fully aware of the election rules and their importance. Individuals wishing to make a complaint about the Election may fill out the form and drop it off at the SU office (MSC 251).

2019 General Election Package (Official)

The Official 2019 General Election Nomination Package is now available. This includes the Elections Policy, nomination forms, and guidelines for candidates. Formal complaints about violations of the policy or procedures must be made in writing at the main SU office using the form below.

The Students’ Union Bylaws and the SU Election Policy describe the rules for the SU Election from the nomination to the appeal process. The Elections Manual contains specific procedures and forms for the current SU Election.
