Full Contest Rules

Current students enrolled full- or part-time in an undergraduate program at the University of Calgary may enter to win one of two gift baskets. Chances of winning are approximately 2 in 1,000 (based on 1,000 participants). Entries will be accepted at the SU’s Welcome Fair table (Sept. 6-7 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.), and via the SU Instagram (@SUUofC). Odds of winning may decrease based on the actual number of students who participate and correctly answer the skill testing question. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

The draw will be open from Sept. 6, 2022 at 10:00AM and will close on Sept. 8, 2022 at 12:00PM. (noon). Prize winners will be selected at random from the contact information provided. Each individual entrant is only eligible to win one prize. Winners will be selected and notified after the draw on Sept. 8. The Students’ Union will make reasonable efforts to notify winners by Sept. 16, and are not responsible for misspelled email addresses or emails that are undeliverable to the recipient. Prize winners must redeem their prize at the SU Main Office by Sept. 23. Names, social media handles, and email addresses collected for the prize draw will only be used for the purpose of notifying prize winners.

  • Session A: 1:00PM – 2:00PM MST
  • Session B: 2:00PM – 3:00PM MST
  • Session C: 3:00PM – 4:00PM MST

This session features a three-person panel with one representative from Student Wellness Services, one representative from UCaglary Student Services, and a Students’ Union Representative. Panelists will address resources and effective strategies for student success within these core themes: Campus Resources, Connection to Community, and Well-Being and Resilience.

KICKOFF TAILGATE FUNZONE ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 AT MCMAHON STADIUM PARKING LOT FROM 3:30PM – 5:30PM

Your SU Execs will be showing off their school spirit before the UCalgary Dinos kickoff at the Tailgate Funzone. Enjoy a free BBQ from Alumni, inflatable games, and more!

All UCalgary students get in to the game and Funzone for free.

You will also find us at Campus Expo on Thursday, Sept. 9 from 12 P.m. to 4 p.m!

Looking for a meaningful way to spend your free time, make new friends, and build your resume? The SU has opportunities for you to volunteer on-campus, and committee positions for students-at-large.

A safe space for the LGBTQ community and their allies, the Q Centre also offers resources and volunteer opportunities.

Tutor Registry

Have you excelled in a course and have an interest in tutoring? Apply to join the SU Tutor Registry.
