Hello UCalgary students!

PrintIn case you haven’t heard already, Bermuda Shorts Day is on Friday, April 13. You won’t want to miss out on the end-of-year UCalgary tradition! Check out performances by Smalltown DJs & Friends, Eazy Mac, Long Time No Time, Windigo, Eya-Hey Nakoda and RocswellxDonJuan. This year the delicious food trucks will be Calgary Mini Donuts, Taiko Taco, Burger320 and Happy Truck.
Getting in is an easy three-step process this year:

  1. Unfortunately, for the first time ever this year, we have been forced to charge a small fee for wristbands to get into the event. You can buy early bird tickets online for $5 until Friday, April 6: If you miss out on those, you can also buy them in person in the North Courtyard of Mac Hall for $10 from April 9 to 12.
  2. You must exchange your ticket for a wristband to get into the event. You can do this from April 9 to 12 (between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day) in the North Courtyard of Mac Hall. You’ll need to bring your ticket, your student ID, and a piece of government-issued photo ID. Wristbands will NOT be available on April 13.
  3. On April 13, remember to bring your student ID and a piece of government-issued photo ID – you’ll need these to get even with your wristband.

For more ticket and event information go to our BSD webpage:

If you plan to drink on BSD, please Be a Smart Drinker and remember to plan your day, which includes taking care of your friends and planning a safe way to get home – whether it’s having a designated driver or taking a cab from the taxi stand near the BSD site. Remember you need your university ID to get in so you can always use your U-Pass to ride Calgary Transit home.
