Puppy Rooms, Nap Rooms, Bubble Wrap Rooms, and Screaming Rooms – how do we know which ideas from students will be popular?!

You spend a lot of time on campus – studying, going to class, hanging out with friends and taking part in activities or events. We want you to have the best possible experience during your time here. You may have suggestions for improvements, but don’t know how get your ideas heard. Well, I want to hear your ideas. One of them might just be the next big thing on campus!

The SU has just launched a website called BLUE SKY IDEAS as a tool to bring your ideas to light, allow them to be discussed and voted up or down based on their merits. Even if you don’t think you have the next big idea – check out other students’ ideas and vote for it (or vote it down). You’re the experts on campus – tell us what you think by checking out our webpage here.

I look forward to seeing your ideas and thoughts that will help us to make our campus community even better than it already is!

Jarett,

President, The Students’ Union,
The University of Calgary

PS – Speaking of good ideas, it’s always a good idea to get your BSD wristband early: Wristbands will be available On April 9, 10, 13 & 14 in the north courtyard of MacHall. Remember that you need to get them in advance of BSD – which is being held in Lot 32 on Wednesday, April 15. I’ll be sending out all the details you’ll need to know about BSD in a couple of weeks – watch your email for all the information you need to know, or go to our BSD page.

See you there!
