Are you someone who loves to explore data and wants to do good for the community? Want to work with some interesting & engaging data? Join us for this exciting DataThon organized by Data for Good at the University of Calgary.
At this event we will be working with exciting data from the Calgary Foundation (http://calgaryfoundation.org/). Bring your data skills and get ready to dive into the datasets that will be made available for analytics and visualization.
You do not need to be an expert to take part, but you should have interest in social data, data analytics, visualization, programming, statistics, or data science. Bring your excitement, data skill, and desire to learn and get ready to dive into the interesting datasets that will be made available for analytics and visualization.
Where: 5th floor, ICT building, University of Calgary 856 Campus Place NW Calgary, AB
When: Friday, November 24 – Sunday November 26
• Friday 7pm-9pm: Distress Centre presentation & networking social
• Saturday 8am-11pm: Form teams & work with the data
• Sunday 9am-12pm: Breakfast, wrap-up, and team presentations.
