Women's Resource Centre (MSC 482)

In the face of rejection, how do you stay open? How do you stay hopeful about connection after having been pushed away? How do you find the courage to show up when it’s easier to hide? Well, there is no simple answer, but healing and befriending rejection are essential. In this workshop, you’ll use Emotional Intelligence tools and B.K.’s recent book “Monster” to explore and transform your relationship to rejection. Expect to do some thinking, writing/drawing, playing, practicing, laughing, and to be read to. This session is a part of the Ask First: Creating a Culture of Consent project (http://ucalgary.ca/askfirst) funded by the SU Quality Money.
