Resiliency Yoga: Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidraor yogic sleep has been described as a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Through verbal instructions the body moves deeper into a state of relaxation, similar to that experienced during a deep sleep, except in Yoga Nidrathere is awareness. 1 hour of Yoga Nidrais the equivalent of 4 hours of sleep.
Take an hour out of your busy week to experience a state of deep relaxation. Feel the benefits of a practice that induces a full-body state of relaxation while you experience a deep meditative state of consciousness. The class will be 60 minutes in length and students will be encouraged to find a comfortable and relaxed position on their yoga mat.
