Speakeasy: How Significant are our Online Histories? @ Arts Lounge (SS 103) | Calgary | Alberta | Canada

Speakeasies are back for another year! For the first instalment, the topic we are hoping to examine is how significant are our online histories when it comes to participation in politics and public life. We are inspired by the discussion around political candidates who have been scrutinized by the public in recent elections.

Featuring:
Ala Buzreba – U of C student & former Liberal Party candidate
Melanee Thomas – Department of Political Science
Tamara Shepherd – Department of Communication, Media & Film

Refreshments will be provided.

This event is collaboration between the University of Calgary Students’ Union and the Faculty of Arts with support from the Faculty of Arts Students’ Association.
