PrintHey U of C, I know you’re all busy finishing up midterms and papers so I’ll keep this brief. I’m Levi Nilson, your SU President and I’ve got a few quick updates on some pretty important things happening around campus.

First off, the dispute around MacHall. You’ve probably heard the SU and the university administration are at odds over the building. For more information so you can get a full understanding of this complex issue visit the MyMacHall website. You’ll find backgrounders on the situation as well as all the media stories so you can be fully up to date on what’s happening with your student centre.

The SU has also put together a big list of the best study spaces on campus if you are struggling to find a spot in the TFDL. Check it out here.

If you belong to an SU club that wants to get into the Christmas spirit and help the SU Campus Food Bank, consider participating in the 2015 Holiday Food Drive! Register with the SU Campus Food Bank by Nov. 7 by emailing

And finally – how great are the Dinos football team this year? They’ve steamrolled every team this season and are in the semi-finals for the Hardy Cup this Saturday Nov. 7, so make sure to take a break from studying and come out and watch the best team in the CIS at McMahon Stadium!

Have a great few weeks! There’s a break just around the corner!
