PrintIt’s been a busy beginning to the fall semester for the Students’ Union, and if I haven’t met you yet, I’m Stephan Guscott your SU President. You’ll receive these emails every few weeks throughout the year filled with key details to keep you up to speed!

First off, check out Clubs Week Sept. 19-23 in MacHall. Hundreds of clubs will each have a table. My advice: join at least one! It makes the year go by a lot faster, and you can meet some pretty cool people. Follow SU Clubs on Facebook and Twitter @SUUofCClubs for more info!

Lockers! If you need a place to store your books this semester, get a locker from your SU. Log into your student centre to reserve yours today! (There’s even some in that shiny new engineering building.)

If you had a great time at the Dinos KICKOFF game and SU Tailgate Party last week (or even if you missed it), you’ll want to mark your calendars for the upcoming Battle of Alberta on Saturday, Oct. 1 when our Dinos face the U of A. It will be a great way to celebrate the U of C’s 50th Anniversary with live music and pre-game festival zone!! U of C students get in free. Click here for more info.

And finally: if you missed this year’s SU O-Week video, give it a look! Filled with cheesy lines, cool dance moves and a whole lot of awkward scenes (courtesy of yours truly), this video is also a great way to find out more about key things on campus! Check it out at on the SU’s YouTube channel.

Peace out, and I hope your first couple days have been a blast! If you have any problems on campus feel free to come to the SU offices or contact your faculty representative and we’ll help you out! See you around MacHall!

Stephan Guscott,
SU President
