Get Out The Vote
election day is October 16
This election is going to be different! The municipal election will be held on Oct. 16 and the student vote has never mattered more! The municipal government directly impacts your day-to-day life and the student vote could easily decide who represents you at City Council.
We are working on a gigantic Get Out The Vote initiative!
By demonstrating that students have a block of votes to win like other large demographic groups, the goal of our non-partisan GOTV campaign is to encourage Councillors across Calgary to enact more student-friendly policies on important post-secondary issues at the municipal level: secondary suite legalization, more transit access and a transit appeals process for instance.
Students can have a much bigger voice at City Hall!
