Expressions of Love will follow the scriptural reasoning approach to interfaith dialogue. Each faith community represented will pick a short passage from their scripture surrounding the topic of ‘expressions of love’. Each passage is read out loud for the group. Then participants will get the chance to reflect on the passage, ask any questions that they may have, bring up things that struck them, and discuss the passage as much as they are comfortable with. Faith Representatives that work with UCalgary’s Faith & Spirituality Centre will host this event, bringing wisdom from their respective traditions. Faculty, staff, students, and other community members of any faith background or no faith background are all welcome to attend! Light refreshments will be provided.
