Using photography and art, 15 sex workers (the artists) in Newfoundland and Labrador, share their experiences in five areas: The Industry, Healthcare, Law, Supports, and Basic Needs. Their compelling stories are told through photography, graphic illustration (comics), and artistic drawings. The artists show what’s working while illustrating the issues they face, and providing solutions. The goal is to raise awareness, create an understanding of the life experiences of sex workers, and hopefully to influence public policy to better protect those involved in sex work.
