Getting Published


This is a student run peer-reviewed journal that will showcase outstanding original work. The journal will be published every six months, one volume and two issues per year (January and July). There will be four main sections, each pertaining to a single or group of particular academic disciplines. The sections include: Science, Technology, Society, Arts, and Theory.


The Journal of Undergraduate Research in Alberta (JURA) is a journal specifically targeted at publishing research performed by undergraduates and written up by undergraduates. The objective of the journal is of course to publish interesting scientific research performed at the university, but also to provide undergraduate researchers with some experience in scientification publication and peer review.


The University of Calgary Institutional Repository, also known as DSpace, is a digital archive comprised of the University’s intellectual output. Established and maintained by Libraries and Cultural Resources, DSpace serves to manage, preserve and make available the academic works of faculty, graduate students, and research groups.
